About the farm
Loucks Pastures is a small, family-run farm on the outskirts of Chesterville, Ontario, run by the Baynham family.
We have raised pastured lamb, pork, eggs, and a variety of seasonal products. Our approach has always focused on free-range animals, pasture-based practices, and raising food without unnecessary antibiotics or growth hormones.
While we are not currently offering products for sale or attending markets, we remain proud of the work we’ve done and the quality we’ve provided to our community.
How it all started
Our vision started small but grew over time. Back in 2013, we were expecting our first child and wanted a more affordable way to feed our family high-quality meat and eggs.
On just two acres, we began with our first ewe sheep, two lambs, and six laying hens. Over the years, we expanded to a larger homestead with breeding ewes, laying hens, beehives, and pigs.
Our goal has always been to grow as farmers, producers, and neighbours—serving our community through quality food and thoughtful practices. While we are not currently offering these publicly, the farm continues to be maintained privately.

Our commitment has always been to produce high-quality, affordable products from healthy and well-cared-for animals.
We aim to reduce waste and be mindful of consumer habits, both as a family and in our work.
